In de lucht zie je aan de ene zijde een zon, aan de andere kant een wolk. Het geheel is gestileerd en hoekig. Op de keerzijde staat de vermelding dat de plaquette werd uitgegeven voor het bevorderen van de arbeid, hygiëne, veiligheid, verfraaiing van de werkplaatsen . Je vindt er ook vijf symbolen die de landbouw (zaaiende boer), de scheepvaart, de metallurgie, de textiel en de scheikunde representeren, gegroepeerd rond het wapenschild van Oost-Vlaanderen. Cette plaque de Geo Verbanck montre un homme et une femme devant un bâtiment d'usine. Dans le ciel, on voit d'un côté un soleil, de l'autre un nuage. L'ensemble est stylisé et anguleux. Au verso figure la mention que la plaque a été délivrée pour la promotion du travail, l'hygiène, la sécurité, l'embellissement des ateliers. Il existe également cinq symboles représentant l'agriculture (l'agriculteur qui sème), la navigation, la métallurgie, le textile et la chimie, regroupés autour du blason de la Flandre orientale.
