De figuur van de heilige Rochus, die op het schilderij in het midden knielend is voorgesteld, ontbreekt, alsook een aambeeld, attribuut van de knielende Adrianus. Het is niet duidelijk of deze tekening een onvolledige ricordo van het schilderij is dan wel een studie. Ce dessin reprend fidèlement la composition du tableau que De Crayer a exécuté vers 1649 pour l'église des Augustins de Louvain et qui se trouve depuis 1934 dans la cathédrale Saint-Rombouts de Malines. La figure de saint Rochus, qui est représenté agenouillé au milieu du tableau, manque, ainsi qu'une enclume, attribut de l'Adrian agenouillé. Il n'est pas clair si ce dessin est un ricordo incomplet du tableau ou une étude. This drawing faithfully follows the composition of the painting that De Crayer executed around 1649 for the Augustinian Church in Leuven and that has been in St Rombouts Cathedral in Mechelen since 1934.
