De kalkoen op deze plaquette is bijzonder realistisch afgebeeld en getuigt van groot vakmanschap: De kalkoen staat naar links gekeerd met openstaande veren met op de achtergrond nog twee kalkoenen en hoevegebouwen. Renato Brozzi s'est spécialisé dans la gravure d'animaux. À l'Exposition universelle de Bruxelles, il a exposé seize plaques, toutes représentant des animaux de ferme tels que des vaches, des dindes, des moutons, des cochons, etc. Trois ans plus tard, dix-neuf autres plaques de ce type ont été exposées à la Foire de Gand. Trois ans plus tard, dix-neuf autres dessins de cette série ont suivi au Salon de Gand. Le dindon de cette plaque est représenté de manière particulièrement réaliste et témoigne d'un grand savoir-faire : le dindon est tourné vers la gauche, plumes ouvertes, avec deux autres dindons et des bâtiments de ferme en arrière-plan.
