Op de voorzijde wordt allegorisch een briesje afgebeeld onder de vorm van een naakte figuur die neerdaalt uit de wolken om zeilboten vooruit te blazen. Rechts in de verte staat een vuurtoren, links gaat de zon onder. Onderaan op de afsnede verschijnt de titel "La Brise". De keerzijde, die een zeilboot op een woelige zee afbeeldt, werd afzonderlijk gepresenteerd. (zie 1911-U-2) Cette médaille d'art, conçue par le médailliste français Jean-Paul Aubé, a été présentée au Salon de la Médaille lors de l'Exposition universelle de Bruxelles en 1910. L'avers représente allégoriquement une brise sous la forme d'une figure nue descendant des nuages pour faire avancer les voiliers. À droite, au loin, se trouve un phare, à gauche, le soleil se couche. Au bas de la coupure, le titre "La Brise" apparaît. Le revers, représentant un voilier sur une mer agitée, a été présenté séparément. (Voir 1911-U-2) This art medal, designed by the French medallist Jean-Paul Aubé, was presented at the Salon de la Medaille during the World Fair in Brussels in 1910. The obverse allegorically depicts a breeze in the form of a naked figure descending from the clouds to blow sailboats forward. On the right in the distance is a lighthouse, on the left the sun is setting. At the bottom of the cut-off, the title "La Brise" appears. The reverse, depicting a sailboat on a turbulent sea, was presented separately.
