Henry Kautsch a gravé cette plaquette en mémoire de son père Emanuel. Elle a été exposée en mars 1910 à l'International Medallic Exhibition de New York ainsi qu'au Salon de la médaille organisé à l'occasion de l'Exposition universelle de Bruxelles de 1910.
