Zijn grote passie was echter de organisatie van Internationale Tentoonstellingen. Vanaf 1876 was hij lid van het uitvoerend comité bij alle grote expo's. Deze portretpenning werd hem aangeboden voor zijn medewerking aan de Wereldtentoonstelling van Brussel in 1910. Het hier aanwezige exemplaar heeft geen tekst op de keerzijde in tegenstelling tot andere exemplaren. Jean Gody, originaire de Verviers, a d'abord travaillé dans les chemins de fer avant d'occuper un poste militaire, puis un poste au téléphone et au télégraphe. Sa grande passion, cependant, était l'organisation d'expositions internationales. À partir de 1876, il est membre du comité exécutif de toutes les grandes expositions. Cette médaille portrait lui a été offerte pour sa participation à l'Exposition universelle de Bruxelles de 1910. L'exemplaire présent ici n'a pas de texte au verso contrairement aux autres exemplaires. Jean Gody, a native of Verviers, initially worked in the railways before taking up a military post and then a post at the telephone and telegraph. His great passion, however, was organising International Exhibitions. From 1876, he was a member of the executive committee at all major expos. This portrait medal was presented to him for his participation in the 1910 Brussels World's Fair.
