The original title reads as follows: Beauty: Seated on a cloud, in the midst of the air, Beauty in the form of a young Goddess, looks up to the sky to contemplate the celestial beauties, and holds in one hand lilies and roses, symbols of purity, candour and beauty, while she stretches out her other hand on a peacock, regarded as the most beautiful of birds.
